When asked their reasons for visiting the same pet shop, survey respondents offered some interesting answers. It turns out that a good price isn’t the only attractive aspect of shopping – more than half of pet owners surveyed cited convenience as their number one reason for going back to the same store, followed by the familiarity of the space and the range of high-quality products. A majority of pet owners (42%) also keep a keen eye out for deals when shopping for their pets, with 37% also signing up for a membership with their pet store chain.
With a pretty even balance between investing in quality and smart finance, it’s obvious pets and bagging a good deal are both a high priority for Aussies.
Top Pet Store – Pet Circle

Should you buy online or in-store?
It can be cheaper and more convenient in the long term to buy items in bulk online such as pet food or care items like litter and poop bags. But, be sure that you’re buying from a reputable brand and take the time to shop around. One-third of survey respondents (31%) said they do all their shopping with the same pet store chain and 43% trust the advice given by staff, so it’s not surprising that some of us keep going back to a store we love!
While you may like to visit the same pet shop, don’t limit yourself to one location as you may find some great bargains and a larger variety elsewhere. Whether you’re after some pet food or pet toys and accessories, there are plenty of stores to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.
